Chris & Christi Mack host their first Mack Back to School Program in Louisville, KY at Kroger Marketplace

LOUISVILLE (AUGUST 16, 2019) – On Thursday evening, Louisville Cardinals Men’s Basketball Head Coach Chris Mack and his wife, Christi, hosted their first Mack Back to School Program at Kroger Marketplace in Louisville, KY.
The Mack Family Foundation partnered with sponsors, Kroger and Adidas to provide 100 kids from Big Brothers Big Sisters Kentuckiana with new backpacks, lunch boxes and school supplies for the upcoming school year. Each child also received Kroger gift cards to purchase new back to school clothes, healthy after-school snacks and had the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Coach Mack.
The Mack Back to School Program is held with the purpose of ensuring elementary school students living in financially disadvantaged homes have the items they need to go back to school - ultimately providing the students more self-confidence and a desire to go to school. The Mack Back to School Program is one of the community outreach initiatives for the Mack Family Foundation, whose mission is to serve, inspire & help less fortunate children in Metro-Louisville.
