Chris Mack unveils Coach Mack's Corner at Young Elementary

Christmas came early at Young Elementary when University of Louisville basketball head coach Chris Mack met with a group of students to spread holiday cheer and the importance of reading. Mack and his wife, Christi, unveiled the newest Coach Mack's Corner at the school. The corner is stocked with a variety of new books and is designed to be a comfortable and welcoming place for the kids to read for fun.
The kids got a special surprise too: Cardinals players Dwayne Sutton, Ryan McMahon, Sam Williamson, David Johnson and Quinn Slazinski also joined in the fun. The players brought more than just stories too. At the end of the program, they handed out a book to each child as a holiday gift that is designed to last a lifetime.This is the third Coach Mack's Corner the Mack Family Foundation has launched in Louisville. The other two were opened at Crums Lane Elementary and King Elementary.
